Only Good Games: Hidden my game by mom

Hidden my game by mom is absurd, but also surprisingly aware and engaging.

As the title might suggest, this game revolves around the recovery of a hidden object: your Nintendo DS. You interact with elements in each scene to eventually reveal the location of your lost device. Essentially, it's an adventure game broken up into discrete stages. You have an inventory, and you use sometimes satisfying, sometimes frustrating, game logic to solve each puzzle. The aesthetic follows quirky Japanese tropes, which fit well into the game's silly premise. Really, it's short and sweet. In its brief 30 or so levels, the game offers surprise and delight. I won't spoil anything, but the end has some mechanical storytelling that I found particularly clever and funny. The game's free and short, so you should try it out.
